Here are some people whose blogs we really like. Please have a look and support them.
In Part 10 of How To Build An Escort Business I explained how to begin adding escorts to your escort agency books. I gave you the key questions to ask them and what to explain to them to ensure that you have the information you need to add them to you web site, sell their services, and make sure that everything is legal and above board. As the old saying goes, you do not want to break the law while you are breaking the law! Now you should have a well ranked website, advertisements on the major escort directories and the local web equivalents of Backpage etc. You are also starting to build a book of escort girls that you represent through your escort agency. Now you have to deal with the clients.
Let me first say that dealing with clients is a lot easier and less expensive since the advent of messaging apps such as WhatsApp. There are others, such as Viber and Signal but in reality WhatsApp will be 99% of your text enquiries. And, in my experience, it will be close to 90% of the client enquiries that you get will be WhatsApp rather than phone calls. So you will have to get used to carrying your phone everywhere. A quick note – until your new escort agency is established answer the enquiries yourself. Do not get a receptionist involved until you know the ins and outs (pun intended), what works and does not, how to handle calls and what conversion rates to expect. Learn to do the job before you get someone else to do it!
When dealing with client enquiries, you need to keep a fine line between being chatty and friendly and having them think you are flirting with them. The most common mistake for people starting out on the phones is to have clients wanting to see them instead of the escorts. Wastes your time and kills a perfectly likely booking.
Ask the client who they want to see. Most will have a favourite from the site but not be that bothered. Either answer their questions about the one girl they want to see, or send them a WhatsApp photo of one or two alternative girls with a brief description. Do NOT send dozens at a time, its is too confusing. Limit the options. Be clear about the price and keep bringing the conversation back to when and where. Next time I will tell you about how to spot danger signs and avoid having people´s time wasted. And also how to avoid the major cons from clients and escorts.
Having read Part 9 of How To Build An Escort Agency, you will see that in my experience getting contacts from escorts who want to work for your new agency is as simple “If you build it they will come”. Once your web site is showing high on Google or prominently in the escort directories such as Eurogirls, then you will start to get escorts girls getting in touch.
There is one big caveat to that statement. It only fully applies IF you have made your website appealing to the girls, rather than just the clients. The best lap dancing clubs make their changing rooms much nicer than the main rooms to appeal to the best dancers. Plenty of escort agency sites just look awful or have text that is just aimed at what they think will get a man to call – they use language that is disrespectful to the girls and implies that they are treated as disposable meat. For example, I came across one site that called every one of their (limited) list of escorts “filthy sluts”. Would you let an agency that called you that represent you? What kind of client will they be attracting?
At this stage it is important to project two important messages – `professionalism and friendliness. When a potential escort contacts you, she wants to know that you will get her good business, take care of her safety and protect her privacy. The way you you respond to her first call, email or WhatsApp is crucial. Here are the main topics that you want to cover:
What is her working name?
How old is she? Request – and make sure you get a photo ID. It can have real name blanked out, but you must be certain that she is of legal age. And, if relevant, that she has the required work permits.
Does she have professional photographs?
Does she want her face blurring on the website?
What services does she offer? If you are not familiar with sex industry terms, look them up online. There are lots of sites that will explain things like GFE, OWO, CIM, Golden Showers, DFK, etc.
What does she expect to earn or what does she expect to charge clients?
Explain what your agency fee percentage is and give her an example. “We charge forty per cent. So if the client pays two hundred and fifty, you keep one hundred and fifty.”
Anything beyond that is a bonus. But with that basic conversation, you will have shown that you know your stuff, and that you will take care of her privacy. That will go a long way to make her feel secure. Now you can move on with your business.
So, if you have worked your way diligently through from the start of this guide, and reached through to Part 8, in which I summarised how to build the back link profile of your web site steadily and naturally, as it should be. And you will have identified a good market and the key search terms that people will use to look for your escort agency. And you will have registered with the major escort directories (escort malls) and started to advertise. Now what? Obviously at this point you do not have an escort agency, you have a web site. How do you move from one to the other? How do you recruit escorts? That is what this is about.
The general rule with escorts is the famous line from the movie “Field Of Dreams”. And it works exactly the same for every escort agency I have ever seen – if you build it they will come. The ·they in that sentence being escorts. And when you have good escorts on your books, and on your web site and directory listing, you will get contacts from escorts. Escorts are always looking at the web for photos of themselves that need to be removed, new directories to advertise in, and new escort agencies to sign up with. And escorts who tour will also look for agencies in their next destination so that they can get as much coverage as possible when they arrive in a new town or area. So if you have your listings with the major escort directories for your location, you will get contacts from escorts. And when your escort agency web site gets reasonably high on the main search engines you will get contacts too.
As it is their job, escorts tend to go further down the listing than clients will. Most clients will not beyond the top five listings on page one of Google. A few will go to the bottom half of page one. But escorts will go to page five and six looking for new agencies to work with. So you will absolutely get contacts from escorts relatively quickly after your site begins to show. Depending on the location or niche you have selected t focus on, that might take eight weeks or fifty two. If you go for “escort London” then good luck – that is the Mount Everest of SEO. If you go for “Mistress Tenerife” then you will rank much faster. So, now you have escorts contacting you. Hoorah! You are just a few steps from having an escort agency. So next, we need to look at how to recruit escorts and look professional as you do it.
Part 5, Part 6 and Part 7 of How To Build An Escort Agency were all about search engine optimisation (SEO) and the different options and strategies available to you in order to push your escort agency web site up the search engine rankings. Initially I discussed the options available to you as though they were single choice either/or alternatives. In real life, they are not. You can use a combination of escort directories, hiring an SEO agency and building your own Virtual Blog Network alongside each other in parallel or in series. You can experiment to work out what is the best combination works best in your selected market. So, how do you make these options work for you? This only a suggestion. There is almost an endless number of ways to put these pieces together to get the best results. Remember that the effect has to be as natural as possible.
The obvious starting point is to link with the escorts directories, where you put their banner on your site and in return you can advertise your escorts on their site. And in some markets they can be a huge source of business directly as they rank so highly on Google etc. You can see the effect at the bottom of https://escorts-laspalmas.com/ Then adding in back links from your SEO agency will give you a good boost your web site. This alone should be taking you up to the top one hundred places within a couple of months. Alongside that you can use social media such as Tumblr, Pinterest etc to build more back links. Just keep the interesting photos and posts going and gradually build you followers and they will re-post your content and the links will build. And the search engines love social media links because they are, by definition, organic and natural. Then, if you are going to build and use your Virtual Blog Network, this is the time to do so. But you need to do so steadily and regularly. A couple of posts a week is about right. Remember, again, to mix Blogger, WordPress and hosted websites.
Then, kick in with more work from your SEO agency, keeping your VBN going alongside it, so you have a naturally building volume and quality of back links building up over a six month period. Keep an eye on your ranking for your main search terms, using one of the many free web sites to keep an eye on your SERP. You should see a rather “lumpy” graph as your web site trends gradually upward, but there will be inexplicable rises and falls. Initially they will be in the eighties and hundreds! As you work progresses, you will see shifts of a couple of places at a time. But keep working on it and you will see the results. And when you start ranking, the escorts will find you. So registering escorts onto your agency is the next part of this guide.
In Part 6 of How To Build An Escort Agency I discussed working with an SEO agency to build a solid back link profile for your escort website that Google, Bing, Yahoo and other search engines will like and regard as natural. Good SEO practise will drive your escort website up the SERP Search Engine Ranking Placement) tables at a steady rate. But as I have said previously, do not rush it. Expect it to take time and expect it to become more difficult as you get closer to page one, And it is harder again to go from being at the bottom of page one to being at the top. It is like high jumping. Going from twenty five centimeters to fifty centimeters. Going from one metre fifty to one metre fifty five is much harder. That having been said, let us start to look at the alternatives to paying an SEO agency; namely, building your own network of blogs and sites all of which support your “money” with back links and “juice” to increase your credibility with the search engines, and therefore your SERP.
A blog network (if you search the web, most people call this a VBN or Virtual Blog Network) is nothing more than a lot of different domain names on different hosts such as Godaddy, Hostgator, UK Webhosting, et etc. There are literally hundreds of places to host your domain and website. Part of your VBN could also include Blogger blogs, and using the WordPress hosting option, which means you can build a blog and host it with WordPress for around a tenner a year, plus the renewal cost of the domain name. So, let us say that you are trying to push an escort website such as https://escorts-tenerife.net/ You can gradually buy a number of domains¡ names (this will cost you around eight to fufteen euros for each domain name and then build sites, or use WordPress hosting, or use Google’s Blogger system to host them for free. The temptation will obviously be to just put everything on Blogger or WordPress, because it is easy, cheap and you need to know nothing about the internet or web design. But the problem is that the search engines will recognise that all the domain names are hosted with the same people and have the same IP address. Which means that they are all connected. Which makes their links back your escort web site extremely suspicious. And rightly so.
So if you are going to use this approach, you will at some point need to use fully paid hosting and/or build your own sites. So if you are going to go down the VBN route then at some point you will have to learn about web design. As well as how to build, host, control and manage a website. Which – and I have to declare an interest here – is better done by professionals. In Part 8 I will round off the subject off SEO and show you how to combine the different approaches we have discussed so far. And then onto what happens once people start to find your site!
Part 5 of How To Build An Escort Agency was focused on building backlinks to boost the search engine optimisation of your escort agency web site. Remember that the basic rule is always the same; the more links your website has from high quality websites the better the search engines assume that you are. So I talked about building links from escort directories, sometimes called escort malls. These have the added advantage that you are also learning to advertise at the same time. But now I am going to start talking about upping the game. This article is about using SEO agencies to help build your backlink profile.
You should typically allow four to eight months to hit page one, depending on the size of the market you are aiming for – if you go for something massive like “escort London” then you will never hit page one on Google unless you have a big budget. If you pick somewhere smaller (or more niche) such as “escort Carlisle” then you can succeed quickly and with less investment. But a mainstream mid size keyword market for escorts like Madrid escorts will take six to eight months and a lot of effort.
First a cautionary note – choose your SEO Agency wisely. It is very easy for the wrong one to totally screw up your web site with the big search engines irreparably. That is especially true of Google, who take a really dim view of anyone trying to game the system. And they will “sandbox” your site for months, if not forever. A conservative agency that will be thorough and do things right rather than going for quick results is almost always better.
Your website design agency will probably also do SEO as well. If not, they will be able to recommend two or three. But remember to ask whether they have experience in building backlinks for adult businesses. It is very different to promoting garden centres!
Assuming they do, a good SEO agency will recommend adding two or three new backlinks a week from really reputable sites. They will also say that you could add a few links every week from lower ranking sites just to make everything seem as natural as possible to the search engines and their “spiders” that crawl the web checking out sites. Depending on who they work with, they might ask you to write articles, they may supply articles for you, or the web sites that are linking back to you may even write articles for you and add a link back to your site. But you will always need articles. They need to three hundred and fifty to five hundred words at least, and about a subject that is relevant to your escort agency and the location it is working in. If you cannot write well enough, you will need to have them done for you. I never said this was cheap.
But having an agency build a strong and relevant backlink profile for you steadily and regularly is one of the most effective ways to show the search engines that your escort agency is real, serious, and high quality. Which is why they will rank it above agencies that are none of those things.
In Part 4 of How To Build An Escort Business I focused on making sure that the “on pages” search engine optimisation of your site is as effective and well thought through as possible. That means using the keywords you have identified in the right percentages, having enough of the right kind of additional material such as maps and YouTube videos. But let me give you the most important tip about web design that I can. Do not trust your web design agency to get on with it. Check their work. Make sure it is done properly. Do not trust what they advise you until you have read around and checked on it yourself. Do not even trust what I am telling you until you have checked it out. Making your website work effectively with the big search engines takes time, patience and research.
Off page search engine optimsation is mainly about getting other sites to link to you. The more links you have and the better quality the websites that link to you the higher your ranking with the search engines. That is the basic description. And it sounds easy enough. But how do you get websites to link to you? Especially as an “adult” site? Well, you have options. The first is to link with escort directories. You put a link on your site and then the escort websites allow you to advertise with them for free. You can wee what I mean on the bottom of this web page https://www.2nd-circle.com/escorts-malaga/ where there is a link for Eurogirls, one of the best directories. But those will only take you so far as you are giving SEO “juice” away, though you get “juice in return. You will need more “one way” links from people that you do not give reciprocal links to. There are three ways to do this.
The first is to persuade the owners of good quality websites to allow you to post articles on their sites. But with the exception of industry sites such as Tits And Sass you will have almost no chance because you are an “adult site and they will not want to be associated with you. The second is to use an SEO Agency, which might be the same people that designed and built your site in the first place. The third is to build your own VBN, or Virtual Blog Network. I will talk about each in Parts 6 and 7.
In Part 2 of How To Build An Escort Agency I explained how to identify the right search terms (keywords) to aim for. In Part 3 I showed you how to select a domain name and find a web design agency to build your site for you. Now you know what to put on the site. Well, I would suggest starting your site small and gradually building it as you apply Search Engine Optimisation and backlink building to the site. By a small site, I mean in terms of the number of pages. The basic is 5 pages plus a blog page. Those five basic pages are: Home, Recruitment, About Us, Contact (plus blog). Rates and Terms. When the sire is big enough you can add in a gallery page. But you do not need it initially if you lay out the home page properly.
By properly, I mean have a look at the site for Classic Courtesans in London. Forget the layout and visual of the site, just take a look at the structure of the home page. The keywords that is is aiming at are variations on “mature escorts London”. The page is headed with them and they are spread out throughout the subheadings and the text. There is a roughly optimal percentage for how often the keywords should be used in the text. The web agency that you use should be able to check this for you as they build the site, using Yoast or one of the other terms. Too high a percentage is far worse than too low, as it tells Google that you are trying too hard and makes the site look suspicious, which means you will be penalised.
A YouTube video is useful and again your web design agency should be able to help with that. Likewise a Google Maps location, but once more the web design agency should advise you on that. The text does not have to fancy, it just has to explain what you do (or intend to do), how you plan to do it, and who with. The front page needs to have between three hundred and fifty and five hundred words at the start. You can add more text to it later if you need to. The photographs should link through to the profiles of individual girls so that potential clients can “browse”. The rest of the site is pretty straightforward. The other pages do not need to especially full of words, the words just need to be relevant to the page title. Then Google know that you are a serious site.
The site should be fine tuned by your design agency for “on page” optimisation – which means making sure the content, meta tags and all sorts of things you do not need to know about yet are attractive to Google and relevant to the target location. The it is “off page” optimisation, which is what we discuss in Part 5.
In Part Two of How To Build An Escort Business we looked at finding out the main search terms that people use to look for escorts in your chosen business location. Now you can go to Godaddy and buy your domain name. It should be based on your keyword research and preferably a dot com or dot net. Being a bit (OK, a lot!) of a geek I actually find the keyword research and playing around with potential domain names good fun. So sue me! Anyway, assuming that you are going for a single location business to start with rather being over ambitious and trying to start out with several locations at once, it is relatively easy to play with the search terms and some hyphens to come up with a website domain name that will logically fit with the way Google works. Basically the more your website name fits with the search term, the more you will succeed on Googles first stage. Now, having bought your domain name you need to organise hosting and have your website built. Are you an expert in website building and SEO? The chances are that if you are looking at this article you are not. So do not even think about doing this yourself. It is too important to your business and easy to irreparably screw up. So how do you find a website building company that will do the job well?
Obviously you can start with Google! There are literally thousands of website design agencies out there. I would strongly suggest that you look for a firm that has experience of the adult industry. Preferably of the escort industry. Making a website that works in the escort business is very different to making one for real estate, clothing or recruitment. So look at the bottom of a few escort agency websites that you like and see if their website designer is credited. The good ones normally are. Two I like are Adult Creative and Box of Marketing. Failing that, look for web design businesses either local to you, or in your target location (which might be the same thing, of course). So if you are based in Glasgow and want to start an escort agency in Benidorm (and yes, that is perfectly feasible if you follow the steps I am laying out) then look for design agencies in both locations. There are pros and cons to each. But basically, find someone that understand the escort industry and that makes sense when you talk to them. If they try to baffle you with jargon they probably do not really know what they are doing!
A basic five page escort website should cost you between two hundred and fifty and five hundred euros, if you are going to supply the text yourself. Having the web design agency write it will cozy another two hundred and fifty euros or so. But what do you write on the site? Guess what? That is in Part 4.
